Outbound AI calls

Ask your assistant to call someone on your behalf — it dials out, speaks by voice, and reports back what happened.

Last updated July 14, 2026

Outbound calls are calls your assistant makes from your rented number. You ask it to call someone, and it dials out, has the conversation by voice, and comes back to you with the outcome.

What you can use it for

  • Reminders and follow-ups. Have your assistant confirm an appointment or check in with a contact.
  • Quick errands. Ask it to call and gather information, like hours or availability.
  • Notifications. Let it deliver a short, spoken message to someone on your behalf.

How to start an outbound call

Tell your assistant who to call

Give it the number or contact and what you want the call to accomplish.

Give it a goal

Explain the purpose of the call and any details it should mention or ask about.

Let it place the call

Your assistant dials out from your number, speaks with the person, and works toward the goal you set.

Get the results

When the call ends, your assistant reports back what was said and any next steps.

Call responsibly. Make sure the people you call are expecting to hear from you, and follow the calling and consent rules that apply where you and the recipient are located. Don't use outbound calling for spam or unsolicited outreach.

Costs and caps

Outbound calls draw on your credits based on how long the call lasts, and they count toward your number's caps. This keeps spending predictable even if a call runs long. See Limits, caps & cost.
