Praxivara Phone overview

Give your AI assistant its own phone number so it can answer inbound calls and place outbound calls on your behalf.

Last updated July 14, 2026

Praxivara Phone gives your assistant a real phone number of its own. Once you rent a number, your AI can answer incoming calls like a receptionist and place outgoing calls on your behalf, holding a natural back-and-forth conversation with whoever is on the line.

This is different from the Voice channel, where you call in, enter a PIN, and talk to your assistant directly. With Praxivara Phone, the number belongs to your assistant, and other people call it or get called by it.

What you can do

  • Answer inbound calls. Callers reach your assistant, which greets them, answers questions, and handles simple requests in real time.
  • Place outbound calls. Ask your assistant to call someone, and it dials out and speaks on your behalf.
  • Keep control. Every number has usage caps and cost controls so calls stay within the limits you set.

How it works

Rent a number

Choose a phone number from the available inventory and add it to your workspace.

Set up how calls are handled

Decide what your assistant should say and do when a call comes in, and give it the context it needs.

Start taking and making calls

Inbound callers reach your assistant instantly, and you can trigger outbound calls whenever you need one.

Note. Praxivara Phone is a paid add-on. Renting numbers and the calls you make and receive draw on your plan's credits.

Who it's for

Praxivara Phone is a good fit if you want a line that answers callers when you're busy, a number for outbound reminders and follow-ups, or a dedicated phone presence for a small business without hiring extra staff.
