Channels — where your agent reaches you

Channels decide where an agent reaches you — in Praxivara, over SMS or iMessage, on WhatsApp or Telegram, or by voice call — so its work lands where you'll see it.

Channels decide where an agent reaches you. When it finishes a task, has a question, or sends an update, the channel is how that reaches you — inside Praxivara, or out on the phone in your pocket.

Available channels

Beyond the Praxivara app, agents can reach you over the same messaging channels the assistant uses:

  • SMS — plain text messages to your phone.
  • iMessage — blue-bubble messages on Apple devices.
  • WhatsApp and Telegram — chat where you already are.
  • Voice — the agent can reach you on a call, and with Praxivara Phone it can place outbound calls as part of its work.

Choosing a channel

Open the agent's Channels tab

Pick where this agent should send its messages and updates.

Match the channel to the work

A quiet daily summary might land best in the app, while an urgent alert is better as a text you'll see right away.

Confirm your phone channels are set up

SMS, iMessage, WhatsApp, Telegram, and Voice need to be connected to your account first. Set them up once and any agent can use them.

Tip. Reaching you over a channel isn't the same as an agent being able to do something. The channel is delivery; what it can act on comes from its Tools.

Two-way where it counts

Channels aren't just for notifications. When an agent messages you a draft or a question, you can reply right there — approve it, tweak it, or answer — and the agent carries on. That keeps you in the loop without opening the app.

Note. Voice and phone-based channels may use call or message credits and add-ons like Praxivara Phone. Check your plan for details on usage.
