Voice mode — talk live Beta
Talk to your assistant hands-free — a live, spoken conversation where it listens, replies out loud, and takes action as you go.
Last updated July 14, 2026
Voice mode turns the assistant into a hands-free conversation partner. Instead of typing, you talk and it talks back — a natural, real-time exchange where the assistant listens, responds out loud, and still takes real action across your connected tools.
It's ideal when your hands are busy: driving, cooking, walking between meetings, or just thinking out loud while the assistant does the work.
Starting a voice conversation
Open a chat and switch into voice mode from the composer. Grant microphone access if your device asks.
Say what you need in plain language. The assistant listens, understands, and replies out loud — no need to press a button for each turn.
Ask follow-ups, change direction, or interrupt to add detail. The assistant keeps the thread of the conversation just like in text chat.
Leave voice mode at any time. The full conversation stays saved in your chat history so you can revisit it later.
It still does real work
Voice mode isn't just conversation — the assistant can take the same actions it takes in text chat. Ask it to check your calendar, draft an email, summarize a document, or research something on the web, and it will get it done while you keep talking.
Because a spoken reply reads differently from an on-screen one, the assistant keeps its voice answers concise. When a result is better seen than heard — a long list, a table, a generated document — you'll find it waiting in the chat when you look back.
Tips for a smooth conversation
- Speak naturally; you don't need special commands or wake words.
- A quieter environment helps the assistant hear you clearly.
- If it misunderstands, just say so — correcting mid-conversation is expected.
- For anything you want in writing, ask and it'll drop the result into the chat.
Voice mode vs. calling on the phone
Voice mode happens inside the Praxivara app. If you'd rather reach the assistant from any phone — even without the app open — you can call it on a phone number instead.
