Routines New

Put your assistant on a schedule. Routines are recurring AI briefs — a morning rundown, a weekly digest, or an alert when something happens — delivered to your phone.

Routines put your assistant on a schedule. Instead of opening the app and asking, a routine runs on its own — it reads your connected tools, calendar, inbox, and the web, writes a short brief, and sends it straight to your phone. A morning rundown before your day starts, a weekly digest on Friday, or an alert the moment something changes: you set it up once, and it keeps you informed without you lifting a finger.

Routines only read and report. A routine looks at your information and writes you a brief. It never sends messages, posts, buys, or changes anything on your behalf — so you can leave it running with confidence.

What a routine does

Every routine follows the same simple shape:

  • Looks things up across your connected tools, calendar, email, and the web.
  • Writes a brief — a short, readable summary focused on exactly what you asked for.
  • Delivers it to your phone on the messaging channel you choose.

Because it runs in the background, a routine reaches you whether or not you have Praxivara open — even while you sleep.

Two kinds of routine

There are two ways to use Routines, and most people use both:

Daily Briefs — the built-in one

Every account comes with a built-in Daily Briefs routine: a short morning summary of your day. It's on by default and starts as soon as you connect a phone channel.

Custom routines — the ones you create

Build your own for anything you want to keep an eye on — unread email, competitor news, new leads, weekly numbers. Start from scratch or pick a ready-made idea. See Create a routine.

How it works

Say what it should cover

Describe the brief you want in plain English — what to include and what to skip.

Choose when it runs

On a schedule (like every weekday at 8am) or when something happens (like a new email). See Schedules & triggers.

Choose where it lands

Pick the phone channel it delivers to — WhatsApp, iMessage, Telegram, or SMS.

Let it run

The routine works on its own and messages you each time, with the brief ready to read.

Routines, the assistant, and agents

These three fit together, and knowing the difference helps you pick the right tool:

What it's forDoes it act on its own?
AssistantChatting and getting things done when you askOnly when you ask it to
RoutinesRecurring, read-only briefs delivered to your phoneNo — it only reads and reports
AgentsCustom automations that can take actions and run workflowsYes — that's what they're for

If you want a scheduled task that does something — sends an email, updates a record, runs a workflow — that's an Agent automation, not a routine.

Personal or shared

A routine can be personal (just for you) or set to your workspace so it's part of your shared setup. Personal routines read your own connected accounts; workspace routines suit briefs the whole team benefits from. Learn more about workspaces.

What Routines cost

Routines use credits, just like other AI work. Each run draws a small amount for the thinking it does and the message it sends. To keep spending predictable, routines run within built-in caps, and they get their own line on your Usage page so you can always see what they've used.

Start with Daily Briefs. The quickest way to see the value is to connect a phone channel and let your built-in Daily Briefs land tomorrow morning. Add custom routines from there.
